The Self Leadership Initiative

The Self Leadership Initiative is our training partner who has been providing bespoke workshops and training to empower more people to become self-leaders since September 2014. Founded by personal development facilitator, coach and former teacher, Gemma Perkins, The Self Leadership Initiative provides an unconventional approach to training.

Active Horizons

Active Horizons is a youth-led charitable organisation set up to foster leadership, promote the voice and engagement of BME young people in London Borough of Bexley. Transforming children’s lives, inspiring them to be healthy, happy and reach fulfilment. To give them the confidence and skills to be leaders and encourage their independence into adulthood.

Youth Works

Youth Works Northamptonshire is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation that delivers education and support services to the young people of Northamptonshire. They are our key partners in providing counselling and support to promote emotional wellbeing in children and young people.

School for Changemakers

SfCM is partly skills based, partly reflective, partly discursive, partly inter-cultural, heavily convivial, inspirational, focussed on sound principles of youth work and always rooted in the spiritual experience of IofC. Its ‘curriculum’ closely matches the Tools for Change conference format of early morning Quiet Times, inspirational plenaries with guest speakers, community groups, elective training tracks, an evening social programme and late-night activities which can include dance, games and drama. Character studies of Buchman and Laure, and the involvement of external experts in the delivery are cornerstones of the course.

Emergination Africa

Emergination African’s key role is to connect our young people to the continent to advance Africa’s prosperity. We achieve this by curating real-world bespoke career readiness curriculums, teacher trainings, competitions and virtual classrooms designed for secondary school learners to realize their path along the education to employment and employment creation highway. We fundamentally believe that education and work in Sub-Saharan Africa will determine the livelihoods of nearly a billion people across the continent making the African human capital opportunity a massive undertaking that will define the 21st century.

Peacejam

The Education aspect is delivered through our comprehensive learning materials. The Inspiration is provided by the Laureates themselves through our materials and when they meet young people at the Youth Conferences. The third key aspect of the programme, Action, consists of a social change project devised and carried out by young people to tackle the root cause of the most pressing issue in their community, as part of the One Billion Acts of Peace campaign.
