Ruth Pahla
Clinical Psychologist
Ruth is an aspiring Clinical Psychologist working as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. She enjoys working with people experiencing different mental health difficulties and helping them on their journey to wellness. As an individual Ruth enjoys the outdoors and being one with nature and taking part in anything that maintains a healthy lifestyle. She has a keen interest in shaping Black lives and bringing the gap between generations and living in the diaspora. She believes sharing information and supporting our youth leads to a reduction of inequalities and an increase in access to services and diverse employment.
Skills: Having a background in mental health helps facilitate emotional regulation of our youth and a key role in developing safe practices for both safe guarding children and adults. This evolves good communication skills with parents, youth and facilitators. My main role in AYA is of the treasure which evolves good financial management and liaison with (insert Rumbis role) to ensure the smooth functioning of AYA.
