CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER/ WELL-BEING PRACTITIONER

I was a young person at AYA from its inception, I have been fortunate enough to see the organisation grow and to also grow with it.

AYA has given life skills that have helped me to progress through different stages of life, I have been fortunate enough to be part of different workshops such as financial literally, identity, public speaking, arts and music.

I felt supported as a young person to explore different options and career paths with the support of the mentors at the time who would spend time talking to me about different career options and also give me introductions to professionals in the the careers I was interested.

AYA, also gave me a sense of community and created a safe place to meet other young people and nurture friendships until this day.

I continue to be involved with AYA because they poured so much time and effort with me that I believe that I also have a responsibility and a duty to do the same and help the next generation of young black people growing up and trying to navigate the ever changing world that we live in

I think that the more we continue to share our stories and experiences with AYA so that the work done here never stops and continues to reach all people from our community and inspire and empower our young people.
